The Zombie Sharks are anti-zombie traps scattered around Venice.
Traits[]
The zombie sharks are Great White Sharks that have been zombified and are used as anti-zombie traps. They have partially been eaten to the bone with green eyes and sharp teeth. In Venice, two sharks can be given an electric shock and will violently spas out making them affective against swarms of zombies.
However, a shark can be seen swimming around in the canals of Venice and nearly eats the player after destroying the Hell Tower. Another shark is seen at the Croatian Zoo where two sharks are seen in the aquarium.
Another mysterious purpose that the zombie sharks were used by the Cult in hell is their blood. Being disintegrated into the Mulcher like normal zombies does for the blood battery containers, the blood is yellow instead of red, using them to supercharge nazi zombies as elite super soldiers (For example: Heavy Flammer Zombie, Heavy Gunner Zombie, and Butcher Zombie) of the undead forces, while the other part is to clone the Nazi Occult Kommandant, making multiple clone commanders, including the Hitler zombies. What's also interesting that the Elite Blood is also more focus on opening massive ancient doors like parts of Agartha in the Ragnarok site, which is very special that the normal zombie blood couldn't do.
Hell Zombie Megalodon[]
The Megalodon is a giant armored zombie shark that appears as an antagonist in the two-piece DLC mission "Ragnarok". It wears thick and durable metal armor plates which is mounted with a turret. Swimming and patrolling in the lava, it's possible that the Hell-Cult had it patrol in the lava and attack any intruders who dare oppose their work. The other possibility is that the Megalodon may have escaped from captivity as it feared that it will be used as a massive scale for the elite blood production, which resulted in it breaking free and started to rule the sea of lava. It's also highly possible that the Hell-Cult revived it for this very reason, learning that the Megalodon existed, and added modifications to it, which explains the reason why it's very well protected.
It was first encountered while Alpha squad and Efram Schweiger were pursuing the cult commanders via U-boat. While holding the Megalodon off, Schweiger began preparing a bomb that they could use as a bait as well as covering it in zombie flesh and blood to lure the shark, since it is drawn to blood, just like regular sharks. When the bomb was prepared, they allowed the Megalodon to eat it. Unfortunately, however, the bomb was unable to automatically detonate, forcing the squad to detonate it by shooting at the bomb, which destroyed the Megalodon and allowing them to continue their quest.
